Bad seeds

We hate to even acknowledge the "other" Acorn you've heard about in the news, but a couple of donors have asked if we're related to the New Orleans-based charity. The answer is a definite no. All we share is a similar name. Our legal name is Acorn Foundation, and theirs is the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).
